A terminal window opens.

3. Move the mouse cursor into the terminal window and click the

left mouse button.

4. Use the cd command to change to the directory you want the

files to reside in:

cd directory_path

Enter

where directory_path is the pathname of the directory.

5. Enter the following command line:

tar –xvf /dev/rfloppy/c201d0s0 pathname

Enter

where pathname is the pathname of the file or directory contain-

ing files that you want to restore from the diskette. If you don’t

specify pathname, everything on the floppy diskette is restored.

Listing the Files on a Floppy Diskette

Use the following instructions to list the files on a floppy diskette:

1. Load the floppy diskette into the disk drive.

2. Click on the Terminal Control on the Front Panel of your

Workspace.

A terminal window opens.

3. Move the mouse cursor into the terminal window and click the

left mouse button.
