NETWORK

ports: 1 through 8, 1 through 6, or 1 through 5

These ports are RJ45 connectors used for connection to network segments. These

jacks have integrated LEDs that display line status and line speed of each port. See

Table 1 for LED display codes.

MONITOR

ports: 1 and 2, 1 through 3, or 1 through 4

VS-1028 and VS-1412 —

MONITOR

ports 1 and 2 are duplex-LC connectors used for

connection to analysis equipment. The LEDs located between

the duplex-LC correctors are solid green when link is estab-

lished between the respective monitor port and analysis

device. The LED is flashing green when data is being passed

from the respective monitor port to the analysis device.

ed LEDs that display line status and line speed of each

port. See Table 1 for LED display codes.
